This creamy and cheesy side dish is perfect for any occasion and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Here's how you can make your very own delicious Cheesy Potatoes au Gratin at home.

Ingredients: - 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream - 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese - 2 cloves garlic, minced - Salt and pepper, to taste - 2 tablespoons butter - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour - Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter and set aside. 2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. 3. Whisk in the flour and cook for another minute to make a roux. 4. Gradually pour in the heavy cream while continuously whisking to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens to a sauce-like consistency. 5. Stir in half of the shredded Gruyere and cheddar cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 6. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes. 7. Arrange the remaining sliced potatoes on top and pour the remaining cheese sauce over them. 8. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top of the potatoes. 9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown. 10. Let the Cheesy Potatoes au Gratin cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and enjoy!
